i just wanna know if its cheap or did i just waste it to cook a piece of fish, its now in a wine bottle in our fridge because my mother destroyed the original cork in opening it.

help me out guys. thanks!|||YES IT SEEMS TO Be!!|||Well...it's a crime to transfer it into another bottle. Cognac is a very special drink. Not like brandy. If you want to cook with it, that's ok because you should alway choose the best qualities of any booze for cooking. But transfering it to another bottle spoiled the quality of that cognac. Just drink it now or cook with it. Next time, don't make the same mistake again.

Martell V.S.O.P Medaillon (Very Superior Old Pale) is a welcome guest at any gathering from a large dinner party to an intimate 'tete-a-tete'. Smooth and mellow, its fullness holds up well to ice or mixing. The label bears a gold medallion engraved with the portrait of Louis XIV, in the last year of whose reign (1715) Martell was founded.

Suggested Ways of Drinking:

Its fullness holds up well to ice or mixing. Neat or with a splash of water and/or ice.
