Does anyone know what David lynchs plans for the characters of Twin Peaks were before the show was axed?

A third series was planned but the show was axed and many story lines unresolved.I often wonder what he had in mind for Catherine Martell,Nadine Hurley, etc?Had he already started on seasons 3 script when the axe fell?Has he ever spoken on this issue?|||no he knew the ax was going to fall.
